Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice explains what personal data landingpageguy.co.uk collects, why, and what your rights are. It's written in plain English on purpose.
Who I am
I'm Raj, a freelance web designer based in Birmingham, UK, trading as landingpageguy.co.uk. I'm the person responsible for your data. You can contact me at raj@landingpageguy.co.uk.
What I collect, and why
When you send the contact form I receive your name, email address, the type of business you run, the option you're interested in, your website address (if you give one) and your message. I use this only to reply to you, to give you a quote or a free page review, and, if you become a client, to do the work.
My legal basis is legitimate interests (answering an enquiry you chose to send) and, once we're working together, performing a contract with you.
Who else handles your data
- Web3Forms processes the contact form so it can be delivered to my inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site securely.
- ChatLab provides the chat assistant on this site. If you use it, what you type is processed by them and it may use cookies or local storage to work.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.
I don't sell your data, and I don't add anyone to a mailing list.
Cookies
This website doesn't set its own cookies and I don't run advertising or tracking cookies. The chat assistant (see above) may store small items in your browser to work properly.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Client records are kept as long as needed to deliver and support the work and meet legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how I use it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Email me and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If I change how I handle data I'll update this page and the date above.
